Scaling Literacy, Ownership, and Opportunity in the Bronx
We currently serve over 3,600 students annually, transforming school libraries into spaces where literacy becomes identity, confidence, and agency.
Over the past five years, we have placed more than 30,000 books into students’ home libraries — not just increasing access, but also building ownership, pride, and daily reading habits that extend beyond the classroom.
With the launch of our fourth Literacy Hub, we are on track to reach nearly 4,000 students each year, deepening our footprint in the Bronx and strengthening our model for sustainable, school-embedded impact.
This is not episodic programming. It is infrastructure, designed to ensure that every student we serve leaves with the tools, resources, and belief that they are readers, thinkers, and changemakers.
As we scale, we are not just expanding reach, we are codifying a model of literacy that is culturally responsive and built to last inside the communities we serve.
